Ade & Sarah

We're a husband-and-wife team, and hosting has been a big part of our lives for the past several years. We've always loved creating spaces where people can truly relax and feel at ease, and that's exactly what we had in mind when putting Seven Arches together.

Ade tends to focus on how everything flows and comes together, while Sarah brings warmth, character, and an eye for the small details that make a stay feel special. Seven Arches is a reflection of both of us, and the care we've put into creating a space we'd love to stay in ourselves.

Whether this is your first time in Bermuda or a place you keep coming back to, we hope you settle in quickly and feel right at home. If you need anything at all during your stay, we're always just a WhatsApp message away.

Public transport is unreliable in Bermuda. Taxis, scooters, or rental cars are the best options.
🚕
Taxis (Recommended)
Use the Bermuda Hitch app or call the main line — or use one of our trusted drivers below.

Scooters are the classic Bermuda way to get around. Rental companies we recommend:
🛵 ScooterMart 🛵 Current 🛵 Rugged Rentals 🛵 Oleander Cycles — 6 Valley Rd, Paget

Good to Know — Bermuda Basics
🚗
Drive on the LEFT
Bermuda drives on the left. Critical if you're on a scooter or e-bike — take it slow until you're comfortable, especially at roundabouts.
🛵
No tourist car rentals
Visitors cannot rent standard cars in Bermuda. Options: scooters, e-bikes, or electric mini-cars from Current Vehicles or Rugged Rentals.
💰
Bermuda is expensive
Bermuda dollar = USD (1:1). Expect to pay more than you would at home — groceries, taxis, and dining all carry a premium. Budget accordingly.
🚰
Tap water
Bermuda collects rainwater in roof tanks — fine for cooking and everyday use. For drinking, however, we recommend bringing or buying bottled water.
☀️
Sun is intense
Bermuda sits at a low latitude — the sun is strong year-round. Use SPF 50+ and reapply after swimming. Don't underestimate it.
👔
Dress code in Hamilton
Swimwear and bare feet are not permitted in Hamilton shops and restaurants. Bring a cover-up when heading into town.
📱
No Uber or Lyft
Uber and Lyft don't operate in Bermuda. Use the Bermuda Hitch app, call the taxi line, or use our trusted drivers (see above).
🐢
Speed limit: 35 km/h
The official limit is 35 km/h, though locals typically drive at 45–50 km/h. Match the flow of traffic, stay alert on the narrow roads, and take roundabouts slowly.
